Janani Venkatraman
Ms. Janani Venkatraman is the Founder of Biomoneta, where she is developing devices that detect and kill pathogenic microbes to improve infection control in healthcare settings. She brings deep experience in anti-infectives and drug discovery, having led R&D programs at AstraZeneca and worked on strategy and project management roles in infectious diseases. She trained at the Indian Institute of Science, with an MS in Biological Sciences and a PhD in Molecular Biophysics, and also held a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University.

Arindam Ghatak
Mr. Arindam Ghatak is the Co-Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Biomoneta, where he is leading the commercialization of a decontamination technology designed to extract and kill a wide spectrum of microbes in healthcare environments. He previously served as Biomoneta’s Chief Technology Officer and led biological sciences at the company, spanning product development, validation, and translation to real-world deployments. He holds a PhD in Biophysics from the University of Calcutta and has also completed an executive program in management at Cornell University.
